I hope you had a wonderful week getting back into the full swing of everyday life. It has been raining excessively in Houston, but at least it is warmer, and I think there is an end in sight. Hurrah!
Today I want to share a color that has been slowly taking over my closet (apparently it is an insurgency…) Army green!
Banana Republic top, Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent blazer, Old Navy skinnies, Christian Louboutin shoes, Zara clutch, Miu Miu sunnies, Nadine Boutros ring, Cartier bracelets
It is all about these army green skinnies! I am a big fan of the ankle zippers – they add such a charming detail to a relatively simple pair of pants. To make them even more spectacular these particular pants also have zippers for pockets (one can never really have enough hardware….)
Army green is a classic trend with a historical military inspiration, but this season it has been infused in all manner of clothing. Tops, bottoms, jackets, and of course accessories. It is a color that goes with everything (genuinely everything), but orange and army green are a match made in heaven. It is also complimented by red, white, black, taupe, and even leopard. As you know I am a huge fan of leopard (as seen here and here), but this pairing is one of my favorites.
Old Navy skinnies (no longer available but I adore these from GAP here – they are 40% until January 11).
I love this jackey by Cynthia Vincent – it is her notched collar blazer. It is casual chic and has such a great drape to it. My color is no longer available but I adore it in this color here.
How will you be wearing your army green around town?
Thank you so much for reading and have a wonderful weekend!
