Completely Smitten – Floral Trend for Spring

Hello lovelies!

I hope you’re having a fabulous week!  I am just recovering from a long Easter weekend, and since Spring is officially here I have to tell you that I cannot stop wearing the floral trend!  I know, I know I am not a print kind of girl at all but this floral trend has gotten me completely smitten (see floral skirt styled here and Suno floral dress styled here).

I am actually restyling items from my wardrobe in this post, so all of the items are sold out but here is a list of current swoon-worthy similar items! (h&m top, Old Navy Jeans, Mulberry clutch, Bulgari ring, turquoise necklace is a beach find, zeroUV sunnies)

The Spark!

Every year as temperatures start to climb I become inspired to do a  Spring cleaning of my closet.  It is so important to weed out relics and figure out where you have wardrobe holes (i.e. what you plan to wear this season and what you need to pack up.)  I rediscovered this top in my closet (buried underneath my spring sweaters).  With the floral trend so prominent, I felt inspired to restyle this top from h&m.  It is always wonderful to fall in love with something in my own closet – it is like a new find, only cheaper.  Does this happen to you guys?  In order to make the flowers pop I paired the sweater with my fuchsia jeans – it is a match made in heaven.

  1. I have definitely found some new treasures in my closet after a spring cleaning, so I hear what you are saying! I am also loving the floral trend, such a nice change a pace after winter. That sweater is so bright and cheery, I can see why it puts a smile on your face! xo-Elaine

    • Thanks Elaine! I am totally not a bright colors kind of girl but after the dreariness of winter I am loving the brights! xo
