Hope everyone is having a great week! Quick post today – restyling my big sleeve top last styled here. The big sleeve trend is still going strong and I wanted to show you guys how versatile this trend can be – from skirts to jeans! I am off to NYC – enjoy your day!
Hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend! I want to share this amazing top that I came across last week – it is perfectly on trend with ruffle front and the linen and cotton mix is perfect for summer time. I have worn this top in a variety of ways already – it looks amazing on skinny white jeans and on flared beige or white pants. And it is currently on sale – grab one before they run out!
I hope you had a great week! I have been continuing with my de-cluttering….next post will be the bedside drawers….who knew there was stuff from 6 years ago? A bit scary….
I love a good matchy-matchy outfit and the lace and color of this top and skirt reminded me of the beautiful sky at Rosemary Beach! The great thing about this outfit is that it can also be used as separates. The top would look amazing with a pair of white jeans and some espadrilles. The bottom would look great with a plain white-T and some silver flats. The combinations are endless. I added the fun new necklace, grabbed my beach tote and took a nice long walk on the beach.
Hope your having a great week! Let’s talk about fringe today and how I love it! It is a trend that epitomizes flirty and fun. This skirt is a great way to embrace the trend for spring – it is light weight, the length is perfect for warm temperatures and the color is spot on dreamy. The beach is still a bit chilly on some days so I added the sweater and flip-flops and was ready to brunch.
P.S. These pictures are taken in my reading nook at the beach house!
Sorry for the late post today, but I have been unpacking and getting back into the swing of things. The beach was just dreamy – there is no other way for me to say it. I LOVE our new house, and I cannot wait to start putting my personal stamp on it. I was extremely busy with getting the house ready, but I generally found time for some fun lunches and dinners. I adore this dress that I wore out to lunch – it is extremely lightweight and the shape is fun and flirty for summer.Throw in the gingham print (which reminds me of the Dorothy dress from Oz, but much chicer and more modern), and that coupled with my mood was the trifecta of fabulous.
With Oz heavy on my brain I added a straw bag by Olive design. One of my dearest friends just started her own business making these fabulous straw bags and I am madly in love with them. They are the perfect size and extremely whimsical – so of course they have my name all over them! Follow her on Instagram and place an order (she does custom orders – can anyone say blush pink?)
Greetings from paradise! I apologize for the missing posts this week, but I have been swamped with getting our beach house ready. I forgot how much goes into a new house (e.g. not just plates and utensils but mixing bowls, place mats, containers, hooks, beach towels….the list is endless.) I have pretty much exhausted all the stores and the local Target is now bare! But I have also been going out for dinner and this is what I wore last night.
I adore Olivia Palermo and when I saw that she has a collaboration with Chelsea 28 – I had to try everything. These are two of my favorite pieces – the shearling vest and the jumpsuit. The vest is amazing! It is extremely soft, the dark blue hue is beautiful and I love the peplum style. It would look great as a topper on pretty much everything. I have not historically owned many jumpsuits, even though I love rompers, but the cut out back is super sexy and a great way to do elevated denim. The clean lines are very chic, and the combo is spot on perfect! I added the belt and I was ready to roll.
P.S. I took these photos on my new beach house porch….dreamy!
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I had an amazing weekend watching a pair of good friends get married – I have not laughed or danced that much in a long time. May Kool-Aid and Bulldog have a long and amazing life together!
Here is a lost OOTD from Rosemary Beach! I love shorts for the beach and I am always looking for new ways to make them chic and more polished. The black and white pattern on these shorts lent itself to a clean chic look especially when I added the fitted crew (this is my favorite white T-Shirt of all time) and belt. These shorts are also great for a more casual look when worn with a loose fitting T and flip flops.
I am planning on going in a few weeks so I can’t wait to share more pics from my favorite place.
Hope your having a great week! I am still processing my images from Rosemary Beach and I am down to the final few OOTDs. When I am at the beach I really love to keep things casual and what says beach more than a white shift? The dress is a soft cozy cotton and I love the tiny white pom-pom detailing alone arm sleeves and rounded hem. These details just make the dress sweeter.
Dress (love this one but its sold out) – Check out my under $100 finds below
I am really enjoying the cool air in Ohio right now – when you come from 103 degrees to 70 degree it feels down right chilly. 🙂 I am in full baby snuggle mode so this is just a quick post about a fabulous pink maxi that I found while on beach vacay. Hot pink and baby blue – match made in heaven!
I am off to Ohio today to my nephew’s Baptism! I am really looking forward to holding that delicious baby! And of coarse, the cool Ohio temperatures (I am swooning) but here is another fun OOTD from Rosemary. I love shorts for summer and dressy shorts are a hard trend to master. However, the high rise and self tie are a great starting point – and coral is a fun color for summer! A monochromatic look is so effortlessly chic and so I played with shades of coral with peach and red as highlights. The necklace is a great tie to both pieces. Since I am a huge bargain lover (isn’t everyone) I love that the top, bottom and necklace are all under $100.
Yes – my eyes are closed in this pic because I was taking a moment to enjoy the sun, surf and sand!
