I am really enjoying the cool air in Ohio right now – when you come from 103 degrees to 70 degree it feels down right chilly. 🙂 I am in full baby snuggle mode so this is just a quick post about a fabulous pink maxi that I found while on beach vacay. Hot pink and baby blue – match made in heaven!
I am off to Ohio today to my nephew’s Baptism! I am really looking forward to holding that delicious baby! And of coarse, the cool Ohio temperatures (I am swooning) but here is another fun OOTD from Rosemary. I love shorts for summer and dressy shorts are a hard trend to master. However, the high rise and self tie are a great starting point – and coral is a fun color for summer! A monochromatic look is so effortlessly chic and so I played with shades of coral with peach and red as highlights. The necklace is a great tie to both pieces. Since I am a huge bargain lover (isn’t everyone) I love that the top, bottom and necklace are all under $100.
Yes – my eyes are closed in this pic because I was taking a moment to enjoy the sun, surf and sand!
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Just sharing a quick post from Rosemary Beach – I love the ease of a dress for the beach and this linen dress was spot on perfect! Kept everything simple with heels and beads.
The week has gone by so quickly – it is amazing how much time it takes to get the house back in order after being out of town for a few weeks. I am enjoying catching up on my shows since I have been TV free all summer. I just picked up a show on Netflix called Peaky Blinders. Can I say I am completely ensnared with it? It stars Cillian Murphy (I dig the Irish accent) and is a British historical crime drama about gangsters operating in Birmingam, England during the aftermath of World War I. Check it out and let me know your thoughts.
I bought this skirt on a crazy sale and absolutely love it! It is the softest silk and I love the flirty feminine bounce. I can’t wait to wear it again! I wanted to keep the look chic and simple and since I am at the beach flats (I can’t remember the last time I wore so many flats).
Hope everyone is having a great week! I am still mentally in Rosemary Beach so these photos are a great way to relive the fun. I saw this sweet eyelet dress and fell in love with the hot pink color (its $21 – if they had more colors I would have gotten them all). The color is spot on for the beach and with tanned skin you can’t go wrong. The eyelet material of the dress is also completely on trend for summer and perfect for high temperatures. I added the hot pink slides for a fun summer vibe and I can’t leave the house without a hat so I added the topper and was ready to roll.
I am writing from Rosemary Beach – I am in complete beach mode. My biggest choices daily right now are – sunscreen and should I reapply sunscreen? 🙂
Wanted to share some casual vacation pics from Washington, DC. I had styled these culottes previously here and wanted to go casual while sightseeing in (gulp) flats. I adore these culottes – they are extremely comfy and they don’t wrinkle ever! Perfect for travel. I wanted to add a bit off fun so I threw in some pops of red with shoes, bag and lipstick. I have already rocked this outfit in Rosemary!
