Distressed Chic – Pink Blazer & Pop Of Red

Hello lovelies!

The weather has turned glorious here in H-town and I hope everyone is enjoying it!  (Dear friends in other parts of the country – spring will come soon I promise!)  I might actually be skipping through town with that song by Pharrell playing in my mind – you know the one…

Because I’m happy

Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof

Because I’m happy
Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth
Because I’m happy
Clap along if you know what happiness is to you
Because I’m happy
Clap along if you feel like that’s what you wanna do

Links à la Mode – Featuring Mixing Prints: Leopard & Camouflage

Hello lovelies!

First I get a quick get away weekend and am silly relaxed and then I come to find out yesterday that I am featured in the Independent Fashion Bloggers Links à la Mode.  It is a great start for the week!  Independent Fashion bloggers is a site with over 52,000+ members of fashion bloggers.  They chose the best of the weeks submissions by its members.  It is an honor to be amongst these fabulous bloggers.

The article they chose for this weeks Links à la Mode is Mixing Prints: Camouflage & Leopard.

Mixing Prints – Camouflage & Leopard

Hello lovelies!

Please forgive me for my recent late postings – I have been super busy with some fun new projects and new styling clients.  I can’t wait to share details on the projects!  My new clients are all wonderful and I am having the best time working with them and helping them experiment with fashion (I love encouraging someone to break out of their comfort zone and inspiring them to take some “risks” with fashion in a way that builds their image and confidence…)

Today I want to share one of my favorite pairings – camouflage and leopard.

Clean Lines – Black, White & Pop of Red

Hello lovelies!

Hope everyone is staying warm and dry with this London-style rain outside (or snow for my Northeast friends).  Before I show you the latest pics, a bit of an explanation is in order.  We had barely taken a few shots during my latest photo session when the rain came pouring down, so I was forced to wrap up quickly.  So sorry I don’t have more images to share.  Improvisation is important both in fashion and dealing with the weather!

Casual Punk Chic – Plaid, Leopard & Leather

Hi lovelies!

I hope everyone has been staying warm during Polar Vortex II!  It has been hard to focus on fashion when all I want to do is camp under my comforter with a good book (which I may have indulged in a tiny bit this week…)  This is the first year that I can honestly say I am anxiously awaiting the Houston summer (I know those of you in colder climates are laughing at our reaction to 30 degree temps!)  In the interest of taking your (and my) mind off of winter, I have decided to share some pics I took a few weeks ago while it was still pleasantly warm.

The Modern Little Black Dress

Hi lovelies!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful week!  I have been making my last minute preparations for travel.  On a side note, I have never seen so many men at the mall – ever!  It is rather endearing seeing all of these guys trying to find the perfect present for Christmas for the women in their lives.

Today I want to continue the theme from my last post – my favorite outfit items  (seen here).  Of course, no closet is complete without the little black dress.

Sarah Jessica Parker – Tulle Skirt, Leather Jacket & Fabulous Shoes

Hi lovelies!

I hope you had a wonderful week!

It was my birthday two weeks ago and I finally came up for air to celebrate.  A dear friend of mine arranged for a girl’s lunch, and there is nothing more delightful than spending the afternoon surrounded by your girlfriends.  One of my favorite parts of the afternoon was the theme of the lunch – you had to come in an outfit inspired by your favorite Sannam and Style blog post.  I was tickled pink by the idea, and I loved every moment of the lunch.  As I am sure you can imagine there was a lot of leopard, blush pink, 50 shades of gray, studs and lots and lots of fantastic shoes.
